2006 PHH "Best of the Best" Award Winner!
Penn State Federal received the 2006 "Best of the Best" award for outstanding mortgage service. Gail Jones, Mortgage Originator and Darla Owlett, Mortgage Service Representative, were the recipients of the award during the 7th Annual PHH Credit Union Conference held in Orlando, Florida.
Penn State Federal was one of only thirteen financial institutions nation-wide, and the only credit union in Pennsylvania, that received this honor. Penn State Federal achieved this award by the high percentage of first time approvals, loans that were closed and by using an on-line mortgage application.
Penn State Federal Credit Union members will benefit by having same-day underwriting and funding, priority at the call center and lower fees.
PHH Mortgage Services is one of the top ten retail originators of residential mortgages in the United States. Ms. Jones has been a member of the PHH Credit Union Advisory Board for the past two years.
